Day 7 or is it 8? I've lost track. Anyway today, July 1st, we went to Co. Cork. We took a little detour on our way to Blarney castle to see a village called Cobh. It's not pronounced cob, like I thought. People seem to call it cobe or even cove. It's hard to tell. This is a fishing village and is famous for being the last port of call the Titanic made before sinking. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the village, it was a short stop, but interesting. Next was Blarney Castle. No one told us how scary it was just to climb the spiral staircase to the top of the castle. I guess it was a good thing because we may not have done it if they did. If I Suddenly come down with a strange and unexplained virus it's because I along with hundreds of other people placed there lips on the same stone while hanging upside down a gazillion feet in the air. I wonder if customs will ask where I traveled to in Ireland and did I kiss the Blarney stone and then quarantine me for 30 days to be sure I don't have some crazy disease. If you don't see me for awhile, that's why! Yes, I am tired, why do you ask?
